<image:title>First Encounters Blog - Delivering my First Feature: #LessonsLearned</image:title>
<image:caption>#NotesToSelf 1) Triple check that no clips are "grouped" or "linked" before deleting. Sometimes it's only clear much later that something has gone that shouldn't. 2) When condensing video into a single track, make sure to first remove any masks. 3) Start testing delivery files well before finishing the edit. In our case, color was easy, taking sound from Premiere to Avid Pro Tools was not. After much hair pulling, I ended up working with a great local sound studio to export the project track by track in individual "OMF" files. 4) Budget allowing on the next feature, bring on a Post Supervisor and Assistant Editor during pre-pro to make for the smoothest possible delivery of the edited project. #LessonsLearned</image:caption>
